Description: |
| A severely deteriorated EPDM (rubber) roof had to be removed in its entirety before a new roof system could be installed. Several huge HVAC units had to be jacked up in order to install the new roof system effectively. Isocyanurate insulation and fiberboard were attached to the deck before 2 plies of Type IV felt were installed. Finally Garland’s Stressply EUV was installed and the entire roof was protected with a layer of hot asphalt and gravel. Color matched custom copings were used to complete the project. This project was completed in the midst of numerous student and faculty activity with minimal inconveniences or safety concerns for either. |
